Field Technician

Two positions are based out of our De Pere facility. One will service customers in Sheboygan, Manitowoc, and Calumet Counties. One will service customers in Brown and Outagamie Counties.

The responsibilities of a Field Repair Technician are to diagnose and repair material handling equipment such as fork lift trucks, aerial equipment and floor cleaning equipment (gas, diesel, LP gas, or electrically powered.) Will travel to our customers’ locations and repair their equipment. Will order parts, process paperwork, and maintain housekeeping in the service van and at customer property. Will keep both customers and dispatchers informed of progress on jobs.

Past experience repairing heavy equipment, construction equipment or farm equipment needed. Prior experience repairing lift trucks or aerial equipment a strong plus! Requires strong mechanical aptitude and good troubleshooting skills. Requires a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Must be able to push, pull and carry up to 100 lbs. SM – Tire Press Tech

Responsible for pressing tires on material handling equipment for customers using our tire press equipment. Service may be performed in our shop, but more frequently by traveling to the customer’s location in our mobile tire press truck. Will also perform service maintenance on customer equipment (fork lift trucks, aerial equipment, floor cleaning equipment – gas, diesel, LP gas, or electrically powered). Must maintain appropriate levels of tire inventory and be safety conscious at all times. Should observe customer’s equipment for other recommended repairs while working on it. Will complete paperwork, communicate with our administrative staff and keep customers aware of job status. This is a very physical job – lifting aids should be used whenever possible, but person must be able to lift, push or pull 75 lbs. without an aid. Much bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling involved. CDL license required for driving mobile tire press truck. Good driving record required. Good customer communication skills necessary. Must be available to work off hours to meet customer’s demands as needed – overtime may be necessary with short notice. Mechanical background needed – knowledge of brake systems necessary. Customer Service Sales Rep

Will perform field promotional work to sell and develop new business and maintain existing business in the Northern Region areas surrounding De Pere, not including Wausau. Analyze customer applications and recommend services and/or equipment best suited to customer’s environment. Call and/or visit businesses in assigned territories on a routine basis, to include code calls. Develop solid working relationships with other sales reps and field service technicians in assigned territory. Develop solid business relationships with customers. Promote all services (rentals, service, parts) and products assigned to you and initiate proposals, negotiate, and close business. Work closely with inside support staff from all departments. Maintain current customer information in CRM. Stay informed and trained on various services and products provided by our company, attend schools or participate in webinars when available. Submit monthly forecasts and lost order reports. Entertain customers as appropriate. Attend trade shows as required. Will assist however possible in resolving any customer problems or complaints. Actively seek leads for products or services that are handled by other sales reps or divisions and forward same to them.

Ideal candidate will have previous outside sales experience in an industrial environment. Will possess solid communication and presentation skills. Must have good computer skills. Should have a demonstrate ability to sell at a profitable level and meet goals. Mechanical aptitude beneficial. Must have own transportation with a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and evidence of insurance. Associate’s degree in sales or marketing or equivalent experience of at least 4 years in same or similar industrial environment. High School/GED a required minimum. Apply Now

 

Parts & Service Admin

Provides administrative support to both our Parts and Service departments.  Ensures daily clerical functions are completed on time and correctly. 

Handle administrative functions with an emphasis in the parts department. Taking parts orders for customers and technicians, sourcing parts from vendors as needed, follow up and expedite back ordered parts, handle shipping and receiving of incoming/outgoing packages, quote parts pricing as needed for customers or technicians, open / process parts orders in computer, process daily parts invoices, maintain parts department organization / housekeeping. Handle projects or other functions as needed. Also perform as a backup or overlap assistance with the service department to include: taking customers’ calls or inquiries for service department related issues and directing them accordingly. Performing such daily functions to include: scheduling maintenance visits, SM Planning, organizing and scheduling the technicians work day, opening repair orders in the computer, reviewing service order audits for service invoicing, process service invoices, take and investigate service-related questions from customers or co-workers.  Strong administrative skills, strong computer skills (Microsoft applications as well as business systems); strong work ethic, team player, customer service attitude.
